North Lake Call of Duty Advances to Nationals

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Call of Duty Warzone duo of Abraham Ramirez and Alan De La Torre advanced the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports tournament.

Ramirez, "Abeezy," and De La Torre, "Electric," beat Marshall Community College 2-1 in the regional third place match to reach the nationals.

North Lake, which has gone 5-4 under first-year coach Triston Shaffer, will meet Crowder College 5 p.m. Friday in the first round of nationals.
