Blazers Claim 2 NJCAAe Runner-Ups

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake eSports had two National Junior College Athletic Association eSports national runner-up finishes this spring.

The Blazers' Call of Duty Warzone team of Anthony Garcia "GKay," Hunter Treleaven "ChillzBR," and Zion Williamson "Zhuni" were the NJCAAe runner-up after falling to the University of South Carolina Sumter 3-0.

North Lake's Call of Duty Gunfight team of Aaron Walker "Reaper" and Garcia finished second, following a 3-2 battle with Union College.

The Blazers' Call of Duty 4v4 team of Williamson, Walker, Garcia and Treleaven finished third after dropping its final match to USC Sumter.

North Lake's Premier Series teams won a national championship in the fall, and had three national runner-up finishes throughout the 2024-25 academic year, posting an overall record of 55-7. The Blazers eSports teams won 23 straight matches to begin the spring.
