Blazers eSports Coast into Nationals

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Call of Duty 4 versus 4 and Warzone eSports teams have advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports nationals this week.

North Lake's Call of Duty's 4v4 team of Anthony Garcia, Hunter Treleaven, Aaron Walker, Zion Williamson and Jamie Woodruff swept Central Community College, the defending NJCAAe champions, 3-0, in the Central Group 1 championship.

The Blazers' Warzone duo of Garcia and Treleaven swept Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, 3-0, to claim the Central Group 2 title. "GKay" and "ChillzBR" won did not drop a map, and had a record-breaking number of kills. They enter nationals as the No. 1 seed.

North Lake's COD 4v4 team of GKay, ChillzBR, Reaper, Zhuni and Vigilante will begin nationals competition 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Blazers' Warzone tandem will compete in its title's nationals competition 7 p.m. Friday.
