Burt Wins Gold Glove Award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College North Lake catcher Parker Burt was named a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Baseball Gold Glove Award winner by the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings.

Burt, a freshman from Mansfield, Texas, had a .987 fielding percentage with 278 putouts and 36 assists. He threw out 14 of 37 runners attempting to steal.

A First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference selection, Burt batted .303 with seven home runs, 15 doubles and 48 runs batted in, while scoring 23 runs.

The ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Team was selected by the NJCAA Division III Baseball Committee.
