Seven Blazers Earn All-Academic Honors
IRVING, Texas – Seven Dallas College North Lake student-athletes earned National Junior College Athletic Association All-Academic recognition for the 2024-25 academic year.
North Lake's baseball team was represented by four of the seven Blazers who received the academic distinction. Baseball player Grant Kline and women's soccer player Natalie Gaytan earned First Team All-Academic honors after maintaining 4.0 grade point averages during the school year.
Baseball players Leo Salas and Matthew Wendorf earned Second Team All-Academic honors after recording GPAs between 3.80-3.99.
Volleyball players Katie Lloyd and Alex Knowles and baseball's Brayden McCallum were Third All-Academic recipients after posting GPAs between 3.60-3.79.
Student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.6 GPA, and complete a minimum of 24 credit hours or obtain enough credits to graduate early during the academic year to earn NJCAA All-Academic recognition.
